Around 135 nos. of visually impaired students from Ebenezer School (ES) and Ebenezer New Hope School joined the second Music Experiential Day which was held on 10 Feb 2023 with performances by a passionate percussion group, Rhythmaker, followed by interactive music activities. The students were divided into groups to explore and experience playing music together as ensembles using different parts of their body, as well as identifying wooden and metal percussion instruments’ timbre. Through body percussion and rhythmic training, these activities were able to improve students' coordination while also increasing their music appreciation and their understanding of percussion music through playing various instruments. At the conclusion of the program, the students gathered at ES School Hall to showcase what they have learned through many music-related activities and to reveal their musical interests and skills.
